Nancy looks great being back in neutrals in this episode:
Bootcut slate-grey denim (with cowboy boots!), brown tee, pretty tan shrug.
The shrug is on the glittery side, but check out the neckline hem on her brown tee: (anyone know what that type of wrinkle hem is called?)
And she's still in hoop earrings and little gold pendant necklaces.
And lastly, the highlight of the episode, the only time we see Nancy in her ballet gear:
Elegant even when she's trying to kick Andy out :D

Season 1 Episode 3 (Good Shit Lollipop)
Sticking with the themes of circles, and brown leather purses this episode. I didn't love Nancy's purple flares, but the top made up for it:
(Awesome move they made in staging her outfit by having her walk around the house with the wraparound top not yet wrapped.)
I say I didn't dig the purple flares mainly because Nancy looks so much better in basics and neutrals. She was baking some treats at home in this black cami / taupe skirt, and threw a denim jacket over it to bring them to the boys:
I guess I was wrong yesterday about the hoops, because here they are again, with more coiny style necklaces:
Lastly, Nancy either really is a rich lady, or Mary Louise's wardrobe folks were disorganized this episode, because she had two similar but not identical light brown leather bags:

Season 1 Episode 2 (Free Goat) - leather n' lace
This episode spanned like 4 days, so Nancy had lots of outfits. The repeats: brown leather jacket, tan leather purse. The variables: blue jeans, white jeans, jean jacket, hoop earrings, pendant earrings, white lacey top, some other tops not pictured here.
With jeans:
With lace blouse, and white jeans (The lace with leather combo is very characteristic of Nancy season 1):
With no jacket, the lace blouse has short sleeves:
(A sad moment. This is the episode where Shane is watching old home movies of his dad. Nancy had just smashed the camcorder above.)
And here (a rarity), big hoop earrings:
(The hoops were big, flying in the face of my friend's mom's "the bigger the hoops, the bigger the hooch" aphorism, but they're made of super thin metal, so maybe that makes up for it!)

Season 1 Episode 1 (You Can't Miss the Bear) - Our fresh innocent soccer mom makes her debut
It's the pilot! Before Nancy's hippie-slanted style was refined, she was introduced as your standard made-up, hair-straightened suburban mom, complete with generic mall jewelry and business casual blazers.
(Tacky 90s blazers aside, I personally prefer Nance without the heavy taupe eyeshadow.)
